Free Services 24 Hour Crisis Telephone Line
Project Response staff and volunteers provide a confidential, 24 hour crisis telephone line for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Support, information and referrals to community support services are provided.
Counseling
Project Response provides crisis and short term counseling, with sensitivity to the issues and concerns of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, incest and child abuse.
Support groups to help adult victims of spousal abuse and sexual assault, as well as children who have witnessed violence are offered on an ongoing basis. Speaker's Bureau
Staff and volunteers are available to provide community education concerning the crime of spousal abuse, sexual assault, the psychology of the victims and offenders and incest survival. If you are interested in a speaker on one of these subjects, contact us by phone or email.
Legal Advocacy
Volunteers and staff accompany victims of spousal abuse and sexual assault through the court process. Project Response, Inc. is also actively involved in working toward reform of legal procedures and related laws in Nebraska. Protection Orders
Application forms for protection orders are available at Project Response, Inc. Assistance with the application, as well as support at the hearings, is provided by advocates. Transportation and Shelter
Project Response, Inc. provides transportation to and from the office, support groups and court proceedings. Food is provided with emergency shelter services. |
